At BirdCare Aotearoa, we are passionate about the welfare of wild birds. As the largest avian hospital and rehabilitation center in the region, we care for over 6,500 sick, injured, and orphaned birds each year. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to provide the necessary medical treatment and rehabilitation to ensure these beautiful creatures can return to their natural habitat. We collaborate with the community, including members of the public, SPCA, and various wildlife organizations, to rescue and care for these birds. Our mission is to promote understanding and appreciation for New Zealand's avian wildlife while giving each bird the chance to heal and thrive.
